Welcome to York region’s newest live theatre complex.

The Peoples Theatre for the Performing Arts is located at
22 Esna Park Drive, Markham.
The auditorium is one of the biggest in Markham at 12,000 sq ft, allowing a capacity of over 700 attendees
split between the lower floor (with 485 seats) and the mezzanine (with 239 seats).
It contains a large stage with a projector wall, hanging TVs, lighting, and an audio input all controlled by a modern AV system.
Our theatre has successfully hosted everything from conferences, to dance competitions, and a variety of other events.
